Bunny Run
We had the pleasure of diving into this brief from Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai, bringing the childhood of Chinese sprinter Su Bingtian to life. Taking inspiration from classic Asian animation, we built a rich 2D world of detailed matte paintings layered with frame-by-frame character animation.
Backgrounds.
We got out our computer paintbrushes on this one to create a rich, Asian-animation-inspired feel, packed full of atmosphere and attention to light.
Making the nian gao.
We have the greatest time when we can play with all of the toys, finding elegant ways to blend traditional animation and compositing to feel yummy.
