We worked with Vancouver Opera to develop three 15 second TV spots for their 2011/12 season. Our approach for each spot was to try to tell the entire story. For the first spot, West Side Story, we used a Saul Bass inspired look reminiscent of the time that the story takes place. We used Vancouver’s iconic Woodward’s in the title at the end of the spot. They liked it so much that they had us design their print and outdoor campaign too.
