Hello, we’re Giant Ant.

A creative studio, a design shop, an animation house. A diverse & tight-knit team from all over the globe.

For 15 years, we’ve worked hard to cultivate the very best talent in the industry and, together, craft meaningful and creative work.

We know that people don’t remember what you tell them, but how you make them feel. We know that everything we put in the world is a statement of our taste. We know that love is always the secret ingredient.

But don’t measure us by our words. Measure us by our work.

2D Animated Feature "Tangles"

Giant Ant is excited to team up with Point Grey Pictures, Lylas Pictures, and Monarch Media for the upcoming 2D animated feature film based on Sarah Leavitt’s graphic memoir, "Tangles: A Story About Alzheimer's, My Mother and Me". This deeply personal story follows Sarah Leavitt’s journey as she copes with her mother Midge's Alzheimer's disease. We are looking for a team of talented artists and production crew to join us in creating a touching and unforgettable animated feature that will resonate with audiences around the world.

*After wrapping 3 great semesters, our mentorship program is temporarily on hold. We’re taking a moment to recalibrate and re-clarify the program’s goals and approach. We’ll be back soon!*

We recognize that BIPOC make up a large part of marginalized groups across many creative fields. To encourage more diversity in our own small pool, we’re offering free 12 week mentorships with the aim of elevating historically under-represented people in the motion graphics world.

By creating access to our design and animation processes in this way, we hope to foster a space where marginalized creatives can freely express their potential and, in some small way, begin to turn the tide of social prejudice.
